![]() ![]() Parents will slam the ground their only aim to crush the butcher of their offspring." wishes for nothing but to destroy the killers and abductors of their children. The Child's Parent, "A deadly force, they rush at me mad with grief and rage. The Children are afraid of the survivors, afraid of being taken away and stored in cramped metal boxes for scientific research, just like the Acrid was. ![]() The Child, who "seem so innocent" is affected by this war with the humans. Even though the peaceful creatures were never war-like, they even fashioned basic armor in an attempt to best their gun-toting enemies. Conflict broke out, which lead to the Lemurians' defeat. Of course, humanity has a history of being stubborn, and so they refused. Lemuria was tired of humans exploiting their home, and decided to ask them to leave. But what caused the residents of Lemurias to retaliate, and be instantly hostile to the survivors? It is even cited that the Lemurians in their monster logs that "From what I've briefly seen they seem to enjoy song and dance.” they seem to be very peaceful creatures! Let's look back at the Spaniards and the Aztec again. Whatever branch of Earth's government had sent people to Lemuria before, this we have established before. But it seems that the reason humans stayed and poured so much effort, even building entire research facilities in Lemuria was to study teleport technology. I won't accept that it can achieve something biologically that the human race couldn't achieve in its entire history." In short, humanity reached Lemuria in search for perhaps another inhabitable planet, or maybe to harvest its natural resources. ![]() I refuse to believe that the Imp has teleportation that is for fairy tales and quantum physicists. "The Black Imp can move from location to location, seemingly instantly. Humanity's desire to obtain this technology can be cited in the Black Imp's monster log. Teleporting was something humanity needed to do. Managing travel between light-years across would be difficult, unless instantaneous travel between two distant points were possible. Keep in mind that humanity has long reached the space-age in the game's setting. Have you ever wondered why every stage have destroyed metal structures, dangling chains, and most prominent of all, large glass tubes befitting a lab which contain elusive items? Humanity has evidently reached Lemuria prior to the start of the game, and these ruins are the remains of research facilities constructed to research its beings, geography, and an elusive technology that would be pivotal to the game's lore: Teleporters. Let's start with the planet RoR is set, which I will call "Lemuria" in honor of the Lemurians. How does this play into the lore of the story? Allow me to explain. And so, when the Aztec tried to kick them out of their home, the Spaniards pillaged and plundered until the Aztec empire was destroyed. Long story short, the Spaniards took advantage of the initially welcoming Aztec, essentially stealing their gold and silver for their own profit. I am sure most of you know what happened between the Spaniards and the Aztec. I apologize beforehand if someone posted something similar before this is merely my personal interpretation from in-game clues and such. ![]()
